2027 Hospital Pharmacist Internships – $77,737 per annum We offer an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence‑informed practice that links pharmacists closely with the broader multidisciplinary team. Across the state, we provide clinical pharmacy services within our four major hospitals, as well as the manufacturing of products, chemotherapy preparation, clinical trials, outpatient dispensing and therapeutic drug monitoring. Our research programme is highly developed, with team members presenting annually at the Medicines Management Conference. On completion of the internship you will be fully registered as a pharmacist and have the chance to pursue the 2‑year ANZCAP Pharmacist Residency Program. You will work 76 hours per fortnight (part‑time is negotiable for successful applicants). Details of Appointment

- Applicants may rank preferences for working in Burnie & Devonport, Launceston or Hobart. Salary $77,737 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Salary Packaging Access to benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year. Relocation Assistance Support for travel, relocation and initial accommodation costs may be negotiated. Professional Development $1,000 per annum entitlement for professional development course fees (daily wage, flights, accommodation and daily allowance paid in addition to this), available after internship completion. Eligibility (Qualifications)
- Tertiary qualification or programme of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.
- Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia; pre‑registration (intern) pharmacists must be eligible for provisional registration.
- Valid Australian Working Visa that entitles you to work at least 38 hours per week. (We are unable to offer sponsorship.) Pre‑Employment Checks
