Maintenance Fitter (Hobart)

**The Chance**

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on **Maintenance Fitter** to join our Goodman Fielder team in **Hobart**.

This full-time, salaried position working on a **Tuesday to Saturday**, including one full factory close-down day dedicated to maintenance.

In this role, you'll be a key part of our high-performing Operations team, ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable and running at its best. **What You Will Do**
- Complete preventative and reactive maintenance across plant equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs, modifications and service work.
- Prioritise maintenance tasks and respond to breakdowns as the first point of contact.
- Support engineering standards through effective SH&E; and QA reporting.
- Participate in training and contribute to continuous improvement activity across the site.

**What You Will Bring**
- Mechanical trade qualification.
- Strong technical and diagnostic capability with experience in fast-paced environments.
- Risk assessment skills and a strong safety mindset.
- Good communication, teamwork and numeracy skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
