We’re on the lookout for a journalist to join our team in the recent role of state political reporter.

The Role

You’ll help drive content across all our platforms
- crafting engaging written and visual stories that connect with Tasmanians.

Your work will include: Producing journalism that is accurate, impartial and impactful Leading coverage of key political stories and breaking news Travelling across the state to report on stories that matter to Tasmanians

About You

You’re sharp, creative and passionate about telling Tasmania’s stories. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to make content stand out online.

You’ll bring: A robust understanding of Tasmania’s political issues, communities and culture Experience in news production and operations
- from newsgathering to social media and visual storytelling Strong writing and editing skills A willingness to travel at short notice
