About the role Lead asset management strategies for Hydro Tasmania’s hydropower water conveyance assets, including pipelines, penstocks and related infrastructure, providing technical oversight and guiding long-term investment priorities. You’ll partner across engineering, operations and leadership to optimise asset performance, reliability and risk across the asset lifecycle. Salary range $140,887 – $163,308 plus super Benefits

- Develop lifecycle strategies for hydropower water conveyance assets.
- Review designs, inspection reports and engineering proposals for critical infrastructure.
- Lead initiatives to improve asset performance, reliability and risk outcomes.
- Support long-term planning and prioritisation of asset investment programs.
- Manage specialist consultants delivering civil and asset management work.

- Degree in Civil Engineering and eligible for CPEng status.
- Experience reviewing designs for pipelines, penstocks or major civil assets.
- Strong asset management and lifecycle planning capability.
- Experience influencing investment planning and risk-based decisions.
