About the Role Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk‑based and cream products, all made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site produces around 33 million litres of product each year, operating six days a week and employing around 50 people. This is a permanent, full‑time role with excellent career and growth opportunities. You will work 12‑hour shifts, 6 days on – 7 days off, with start times at 3:30am, 4:30am or 7:30am depending on the line assigned. Responsibilities
- Operate machinery, set machine parameters and troubleshoot faults. Experience in pasteurisation is highly preferred.
- Perform warehouse duties, including operating a forklift.
- Record and report production data, completing downtime sheets.
- Ensure production areas meet quality cleaning standards.
- Adhere to company safety and quality policies and procedures. Qualifications
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Forklift licence is highly desirable.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Self‑starter with a proactive nature.
- Strong problem‑solving skills. Advantages
