As the accredited coater ofchoice for our customers, this important role is responsible for theperformance of all factory production at our Chipping Norton (NSW) facility toproduce quality work including responsibility for:
- Performanceand supervision of workers
- Controllingwork in progress
- Implementationof efficient work practices to optimise factory performance
- Managechemical pre-treatment systems
- Operatingplant and equipment settings
- Managingconsumables and packing The Role We are seeking a proactive anddetail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This roleis essential in ensuring seamless communication between customers, sales, andproduction teams, while maintaining accurate timelines and deliveringexceptional service. You’ll play a key role inmanaging production order ETAs, coordinating workflows, and ensuring projectupdates are being tracked, monitored and communicated to relevant stakeholders.This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamicmanufacturing, construction or production warehouse type environment. Key Responsibilities may include:
- Act as the central point of communication between customers, sales, and factory teams
- Provide accurate and timely ETA updates to clients throughout the production process
- Follow up with customers via phone, email, and internal systems to ensure smooth job progression
- Oversee job intake and ensure job cards are processed efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate with Sales, Factory, and Stores to support operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate data entry and administrative records
- Monitor workflows to support KPI achievement and continuous improvement The Successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in customer service and administrative support roles
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to adapt your style to different clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Experience working towards KPIs and handling data entry tasks
- Customer-focused mindset, with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
