About The Role The permanent, full‐time Maintenance Technician role supports our afternoon shift at our Dandenong South plant (with travel to Braeside and Keysborough) and plays a key part in driving reliability, planning efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role supports all plant equipment and includes installations, repairs, commissioning, testing, fault finding, and diagnostics to maximise plant effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities (Include but Not Limited To) Participate in repairs and preventative maintenance of all site plant and equipment. Carry out timely repairs, installations, and commissioning activities. Assess and prioritise breakdown and service requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for preventative maintenance and plant performance. Provide expert technical input into capital projects. Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time. About You Hands‐on technical background in FMCG, food, or high‐speed packaging manufacturing. Experience and knowledge on flow wrappers (Horizontal and Vertical), robotic pallet stackers, automated packing lines PLCs HMIs and control system knowledge highly regarded along with robotic pallet movers and hood wrappers. Strong coordination and planning capability across maintenance and engineering teams. Knowledge of automation, PLC systems, and continuous improvement practices. Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and well organized. Trade qualification or engineering background preferred; high‐risk licenses (EWP, Restricted Electrical, Forklift, Confined Space) highly regarded.
