Medical Receptionist (Hobart)

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our supportive team at our Hobart clinic. Established in 2002 by GPs Dr Ross Lamplugh and Dr Hamish Meldrum in Bourke, NSW, Ochre Health is a leading provider of primary healthcare in Australia, operating a network of over 60 medical centres around the country. Responsibilities
- Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
- Liaise with patients and their families, GP's, other health professionals and their staff in a compassionate manner
- Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results
- All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
- Provide ongoing support to GP and practice nurse as required
- Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team
- Ability to work independently and as a team Essential Requirements
- Medical admin/reception experience an advantage but not essential.
- Robust Customer Service Skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Close attention to detail
- Confident in the use of technology
- Show initiative and work productively within a team environment with a good attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
- Ability to work alone and as part of a close team
- Exceptional time management skills
