About the role Shape practical, well-governed technology solutions that enable business outcomes across Hydro Tasmania. Design and deliver enterprise technology solutions for Hydro Tasmania. Contribute to a renewable energy future for Australia. Based in Hobart or Melbourne with real flexible working arrangements. Salary range $140,877–$163,308 plus super. Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into solution architectures.
- Design end-to-end solutions across application, data, security and infrastructure.
- Guide solution delivery with risk‑based governance and architectural oversight.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, standards, security and policy.
- Develop high‑level implementation plans, options analysis and resource needs. Skills and Experience
- Experience in solution architecture across complex enterprise environments.
- Design solutions that balance functional, financial and risk requirements.
- Strong understanding of architectural frameworks, standards, security architecture and integration patterns.
- Develop technical roadmaps, options analysis and value/risk assessments.
- Influence stakeholders and work autonomously across business and IT teams.
- Hands‑on experience with technology stacks including Azure, AWS, Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, SQL Server, Kubernetes. Benefits
