In this role, you'll provide expert advice and leadership to ensure effective medical and injury management strategies that support positive outcomes and uphold the principles of the Health Perks of Valuable Work and It Pays to Care framework. This is a permanent full-time role based in Hobart, Tasmania. What You'll Do
- Oversee Workers' Compensation claims teams on high-risk medical and injury management strategies
- Provide specialist support on liability decisions, healthcare funding, and return-to-work plans
- Mentor claims consultants to build capability and confidence
- Facilitate training programs for corporate clients to promote best practice injury management
- Manage relationships with healthcare suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency
- Lead and contribute to national projects that drive innovation and improvement
- Champion collaborative approaches that make a meaningful difference to recovery outcomes What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, with a focus on injury management or workplace rehabilitation
- Strong understanding of statutory personal injury schemes and their practical application
- Ability to assess complex claims and recommend effective medical and return-to-work strategies
- Skilled in building relationships and influencing stakeholders, including healthcare providers and workplace rehab specialists
- Experience mentoring or supporting teams and facilitating training sessions is highly regarded
- Proven capability to drive early intervention and positive recovery outcomes for injured workers What We Offer
