ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Code Consultant or Accredited Certifier to step into a well-established, industry-leading consultancy. Based in Liverpool, you’ll be responsible for delivering professional building code compliance services across a wide range of commercial, residential and industrial projects. You’ll work closely with clients, project teams and internal specialists to ensure high-quality compliance outcomes, while enjoying autonomy and genuine long-term growth opportunities within a collaborative team. - Undertake day-to-day functions as an Accredited Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority
- Assess and issue Complying Development Certificates and Part 4A Certificates under the EP&A; Act and Regulations
- Prepare inspection reports and BCA assessments for various building classes
- Provide clear, expert advice to clients across written and verbal channels
- Liaise with Fire & Rescue NSW and fire safety engineers on performance-based solutions
- Assist with fee proposals and contribute to business growth initiatives
- Conduct building audits and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Building Regulations Consultant or Accredited Certifier (Local Government or Private Sector)
- Registration as an Accredited Building Certifier (A2 or A3 preferred) or eligibility to obtain
- Comprehensive understanding of the EP&A; Act, Regulations, and BCA Volumes 1 & 2
- Proven experience across a mix of Class 2–9 projects
- Strong attention to detail, communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and BCS experience highly regarded
