Senior Purchasing Officer (Coomera)

The Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Purchasing Officer to join our high-performing Supply Chain team. This is a hands-on role managing a high-volume purchasing portfolio that includes local supply, international vendors across our U.S procurement network. You will be stepping into a role that operates at pace, requires strong commercial judgement, and relies on confident decision-making. We are looking for someone who can take ownership from day one and contribute meaningfully to the reliability and flow of materials across our production environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchasing across a portfolio of international and domestic suppliers
- Coordinate purchasing through the RYA procurement flow, including US-based orders
- Build, maintain, and enhance supplier relationships with a focus on performance, delivery, and reliability
- Develop purchasing forecasts and supply reports to support production planning
- Identify supply risks early and escalate proactively
- Support continuous improvement across purchasing workflows and team processes
- Contribute to ERP-driven purchasing and reporting within Infor VISUAL What You Bring
- 3–5+ years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- Background in manufacturing, construction, marine, or comparable industrial environments (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple suppliers across varied categories
- Confident with ERP platforms; Infor VISUAL experience is beneficial
- Strong forecasting, analytical, and reporting capability
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and manage purchasing cycles
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills maintaining productive partnerships
