Disability Support Worker (Coomera)

Trin Quality Care is looking for passionate motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. We are a NDIS Registered Service Provider specialising in supported independent living and community access in the Gold Coast area. We are seeking workers who possess a high standard of work ethic, are reliable and passionate about person-centred care and support for people living with a disability. Joining TQC will give you the satisfaction of making a difference in the homes and communities of our participants to support them to live as independently as possible. This is a casual position, and you will need to have a willingness to work shift work (e.g., morning, afternoon, night and weekend). Duties included but not limited to:
- Help our participants with personal care needs (i.e., feeding, showering, dressing).
- Encourage our participants to learn current skills and socialise in their local community.
- Medication assistance
- Assist in the preparation of nutritious meals and domestic tasks.
- Require self-confidence, as well as the ability to assess and manage risks.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills. Wage is based on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Home Care Employees—Disability Care and will depend upon the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. Other requirements
- Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar. (Or willing to obtain)
- HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication (Or willing to obtain)
- Current Blue card, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver’s License
- Reliable car and comprehensive insurance
