Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, Australia’s favourite theme parks, are on the lookout for a seasoned Safety Case Program Specialist to lead the renewal of our Major Amusement Park licence. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for safety professionals to bring their expertise in regulated environments (e.g., Major Hazard Facilities) to the thrilling world of theme parks while making a lasting impact on the safety of our guests and team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development, submission, and coordination of the Major Amusement Park licence renewal process.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses of current safety cases and assessments, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with technical experts to refine and enhance safety documentation.
- Facilitate risk assessment workshops, including bow-tie analysis, to identify and implement risk control strategies for significant amusement device risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, regulators, and industry peers to adopt and share best practices in safety case development.
- Review and enhance emergency plans to ensure ongoing compliance with Safety Case standards.

**You’ll thrive in this role if you bring**:

- Extensive experience in developing safety cases, risk assessments, and safety management systems in regulated industries (Major Hazard Facilities preferred).
- A background in process safety, system safety, or safety engineering, ideally with formal qualifications.
- A proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to balance compliance with organisational goals.
- Expertise in emergency management planning and policy development.
- A strong track record in delivering large-scale projects involving diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using tools like Bow-tie XP, safety databases, and business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
