- Quality Compassionate Services is currently seeking qualified Disability Supports Workers in the Pimpama, Coomera and Coombabah areas. Valuable Vibes is focused on work-life balance, and therefore, the rosters for shifts are versatile and not set; you are rostered weekly according to your availability and requires one to two sleepovers a week.

The current need is for male and female disability support workers with the experience and skills to work with people with high behaviours, high verbal abuse, as well as physical behaviours.

We have a growing family and are seeking dedicated, committed, and compassionate Disability Support Workers. We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive and person-centered services that make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include, but not be limited to: Experience, working with people with mental health needs, complex needs, challenging behaviours, verbal and physical abuse, and a variety of disabilities. Strong administrative skills in a digital environment to keep accurate participant records, restrictive practice recording, complete incident reports, progress notes, and complete necessary monthly reports. Be able to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans. Ability to work as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.

Essential Requirements: A heart with a true passion for working with people with a disability Must have experience in dealing with people with complex needs, mental health needs, challenging behaviours, and verbal abuse.
