Disability Support Worker (Coomera)

Medicross Australia is a Gold Coast based disability service provider. Medicross Australia is part of the Medicross Group which incorporates both Medicross and Elite Med Medical Clinics. Operating throughout SEQ, the Medicross group has 17 GP clinics. Medicross Australia is committed to support its clients to live the life they want. As part of our growth and supporting our Medicross and Elite Med GP’s and their patients, Medicross Australia is looking to recruit additional Community Support Workers including AIN’s and Disability support workers. The right candidates will have a passion for caring for people and a positive approach to all situations.

Successful applicants will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. They will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile for their clients and colleagues. Duties will include domestic assistance (cleaning) and community access support. Support will be provided to participants located in Northern Gold Coast. To be successful, applicants are required to have:
- First Aid and CPR
- Drivers Licence
- Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smart phone with internet access
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Community or Aged Care Mandatory
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability/Individual Support highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening/Blue Card
- Police Certificate
