About the role Charlie's on Grand ???? is seeking an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team on a part-time basis leading into a full-time role in Hope Valley, South Australia. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry customers, ensuring they look and feel their best. What you'll be doing 1. Bathing, trimming, and brushing dogs to maintain their coats and appearance 2. Performing nail trims, ear cleanings, and other grooming procedures as needed 3. Able to complete full grooms, clips, de sheds and tidy ups for specific breeds/owner preferences while providing a calming and positive experience for dogs during the grooming process 4. Maintaining a clean and organised grooming area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised 5. Communicating effectively with clients about their pet's grooming needs and preferences 6. Staying up to date on the latest grooming techniques and trends What we're looking for 1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional dog groomer in a salon 2. Robust handling skills and the ability to work safely and gently with dogs 3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients 4. Attention to detail and the ability to follow grooming instructions precisely 5.
