Metal Fabricator (Hoppers Crossing)

Metal Fabricator / Site Installer Australian Metal Services | Melbourne Australian Metal Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator / Site Installer to join our team. This is a primarily site-based role, working across Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial construction projects throughout Melbourne. About the Role You'll be working across a variety of architectural and miscellaneous steel packages, including:
- Balustrades
- Handrails
- Flashings
- Structural support steel
- Feature metalwork
- General site modifications
- Stainless steel fabrication and installation
- Miscellaneous steel installs Most work is on active commercial construction sites, so confidence working around builders, site managers, permits, SWMS, and site safety requirements is important. What We're Looking For
- Qualified Metal Fabricator / Boilermaker (preferred)
- Commercial site installation experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial site installation experience required
- Experience working on Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction projects highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- White Card (essential)
- EWP, Working at Heights, Dogman or other relevant tickets highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Driver's license (essential)
