Your new role As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and upkeep of the school's facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role with a 50/50 split between on-the-tools work and office-based responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities across the campus
- Carrying out hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep
- Managing contractors and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Planning and scheduling maintenance works and projects
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Supporting school operations by assisting with event setups, pack-downs, and logistics
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with WHS regulations What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a maintenance/facilities supervisory role
- Trade qualification or strong hands-on maintenance background
- Ability to balance practical work with administrative responsibilities
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Experience working in a school or similar environment (desirable)
- Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) What you'll get in return
