Bookshop Assistant Store Manager (St Ives)

Do you love reading? BOOK FACE is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our well-read booksellers in the BOOK FACE St Ives store.

As the Assistant Store Manager your role is to support the Store Manager to ensure the bookstore runs smoothly by taking on some managerial tasks, such as overseeing the team to provide excellent customer service, training, accounting duties and scheduling team rosters. The main responsibility of an Assistant Store Manager is to act in the role of a Manager in the Store Manager's absence.

You are responsible for maintaining the values and standards of the best bookselling environment in Australia. Through the coordination and assisting in management of all store booksellers, operation systems and service people, this position is responsible for ensuring our strategic objective is met.

Librarians, booksellers and publishing staff are welcome to apply. Previous management experience is not necessary however bookseller experience is recommended.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
