- **The Opportunity**:_

This is a rare opportunity to further develop your career with a growing organisation in the Early Childhood Industry. As an experienced educator, you exude passion for the early years and view each child as an individual. You will be responsible for providing support to the children and fellow Educators to ensure exceeding quality practices and compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) With ongoing access to professional development and promotional opportunities as the organisation grows. As an Educator Assistant you will be responsible for:

- **Supporting the Development and Delivery of Educational Programs**: Assist in the planning and implementation of high-quality educational programs that foster continuous learning for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, in alignment with the NQF, EYLF, and the Reggio Emilia approach.
- **Contributing to Documentation and Learning Records**: Actively assist in implementing and documenting each child’s learning and development, including:

- Wellbeing Plans
- 6-Month Curriculum Intentions Plan
- Flexible Room Routines
- **Ensuring a Safe and Stimulating Environment**: Maintain a nurturing, secure, and engaging environment that supports children’s growth and development.
- **Supervising and Protecting Children**: Providing active supervision and taking all necessary precautions to always ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- **Promoting Meaningful Participation**: Encouraging active and meaningful involvement from all children in experiences, while fostering trusting and respectful relationships.
- **Collaborate and Contribute to the Centre’s Growth**:Working closely with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community, contributing to a cooperative team environment and the continuous improvement of the service.
- **What we are looking for**:_

**Qualifications**:

- **Certificate III OR ⁠Diploma in Early Childhood Education**:

- ⁠Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Current Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Child protection, Safe Sleep and Food Safety Training desirable

**Skills**:

- ⁠Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- ⁠Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
- ⁠Understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience with the Assessment and Rating process.
- Committed to sharing the same vision and philosophy.
- Positive and optimistic outlook, friendly disposition and a great team player.
- ⁠Passionate about the Early Childhood Sector and an advocate for children.
- Ability to build robust relationships with fellow Educators, the children and the families.

**This is position that requires a Certificate III OR Diploma**. We have both Full-time and Part

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.99
- $34.40 per hour

Expected hours: 25
- 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St Ives, NSW 2075: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate I
- IV (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
