About the Role:
This newly created supervisory role has become available for Catholic Healthcare residential homes with 80+ beds.
Reporting to the Residential Manager and with a team of indirect housekeeping reports, this role will be responsible for:
Coordinating, monitoring and providing a range of hospitality services, including laundry and cleaning, to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Acting as a “buddy” to new members of the hospitality team to assist them become familiar with the Home and requirements of the role.
Conducting regular inspections to assess the cleanliness and safety of the Home and address any issues promptly.
To be successful in this role you’ll need
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
Valuable communication skills
A reliable team player
Understanding of workplace health and safety
