Cleaning Assistant (Galston)

RSL LifeCare is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to work as a casual cleaner, who would love to make a difference in the lives of veterans and aged care residents at our **aged care home
- Mark Donaldson House, Galston.**

The position is available for a competent person to clean common areas of the aged care facility as per the schedule and as required. Duties include **vacuuming, dusting, Cobb webbing, washroom hygiene, replenishing paper stock as required, and stock control
- including cleaning showers and toilets and taking out and bringing in garbage bins**. **To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have experience in cleaning; aged care cleaning experience is desirable but not necessary
- Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Policy within the organization by maintaining a protected and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- Have a positive outlook and enjoy working co-operatively in a team
- Want to make a difference and contribute to the wellbeing of others

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. _Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare**What we can offer you**:
