Assistant Educator Diploma Kaniva

Job Summary

Diploma Educator – Permanent Part‑Time (20 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday) at our Early Learning centre on Baker Street, Kaniva, VIC. This role supports Room Leaders and other qualified educators in delivering social and educational activities.

Responsibilities

Assist Room Leaders in planning and delivering play‑based learning experiences.

Provide social, emotional and educational activities that build a child’s sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and teamwork.

Maintain a protected, stimulating, and supportive workplace for children in small group sizes.

Participate in staff lunch breaks, Service Leader planning and support commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or Certificate III – strong candidates).

First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain).

Current Working with Children Check.
