Position Details Role Senior Fund Accountant Location BERLIN – In Person Engagement Type Full Time Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the accounting activities for ACE clients investing in varied alternative asset classes following different GAAPs (GER GAAP; IFRS; etc.) and industry specific regulations.
- Assist in accounting migration of existing fund structure of new customers
- Prepare, review and analyze of monthly / quarterly / annual Financial Statements with supporting documentation under the various accounting standards
- Performance of Net Asset Value calculations
- Assistance with consolidations; investor reporting, and financial statements preparation
- Reconciliations of fund draw downs and distributions, accruals, expenses etc.
- Manage the input double entry bookkeeping to the accounting system
- Investor Relations Support – Assist in preparing statements and responses to investor inquiries
- Assist and prepare Fund investor capital statements, Fund and investor IRR calculations as required
- Support in the liaison with various external and internal parties (e.g. client, external auditor, etc) in the day-to-day accounting of the Fund and other custom reporting and projects for specific investor needs Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA in progress is a plus)
- 1-2 years (internship) in fund accounting VC/ PE, or financial services
- Willingness to learn and deep-dive into Venture Capital and Private Equity Fund accounting
