We are a boutique village style not-for-profit facility located in Roselands, seeking an enthusiastic and proactive full time (Monday-Friday) Maintenance Officer to support the organisations service workplace.

**About the role**

Our staff work holistically to provide high-quality care and services to our residents based on interactions that are engaging, compassionate and considerate to their individual needs, preferences, identity, culture & diversity.

- Responsive, corrective and preventative maintenance services.
- Diverse tasks include painting, gardening/weeding, repairs, carpet/upholstery steam cleaning, window/gutter cleaning, furniture removal, storage of deliveries (some lifting required), test & tagging, mobility & aid equipment servicing, waste & bin management etc.
- Conduct six (6) monthly environmental audits and provide documentation to reflect completion of these audits.
- Ensuring Leigh Place grounds are safe and secure.
- Ensuring Regulatory Compliance for Work Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control and Lifts.
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with SOP to prevent accidents and maintain healthy and safe lifting techniques.

**Skills & Experience**
- Building or carpentry experience highly regarded
- Commitment to the provision of quality care and continuous improvement
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Display initiative, integrity and a strong work ethic
- Hold a current Police Check and Covid-19 vaccinated
