Cable Assembly Expert (Peakhurst)

Assembly on a broad range of bespoke harness designs, requiring a multitude of production techniques.
- Main tasks include, interpreting engineering drawings, production of 1st off samples, soldering, crimping, machine operation and programming, training coworkers.
- Ensure alignment with internal work instructions and customer documentation whilst meeting the necessary electrical design and quality standards.
- Monitoring of job progress to ensure completion within allocated time and budget.
- Provide production feedback and records to the Managing Director.
- Troubleshoot production issues, manage shortages, and maintain consumables.
- Implement and maintain a 5S system in the cable harness production area.
- Operate production machinery and assist with preventative/corrective maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to Q-TS operating procedures and process protocols.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist other production staff, ensuring efficiency and quality compliance.
- Set up, test, and document test regimes for customer orders; train others as needed.
- Assist in quoting feedback and capacity planning activities.
- Other tasks as required by management.

Pay: $32.34
- $37.06 per hour

**Education**:

- Graduate Certificate / Graduate Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cable Assembly : 2 years (required)

- English (required)
