Production Manager (Kingsgrove)

**About the Role** As our **Production Manager**, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, food safety compliance, and team leadership across the production floor. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will enjoy the opportunity to develop capability using Lean Manufacturing principles to achieve operational excellence and engagement with the team..

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage production teams to meet daily output and quality targets
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, waste reduction, and safety
- Monitor and enforce food safety (HACCP), quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate production scheduling in alignment with sales and dispatch
- Manage and develop production staff through training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Ensure effective communication between production, quality, and maintenance teams
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements

**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience as a Team Leader/ Supervisor or Production Manager in food manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, WHS, and food safety regulations
- Excellent people leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and organisational skills
