Machine Operator (Kingsgrove)

**About the role**

We’re on the lookout for a reliable **Machine Operator** to set up, operate, and monitor machinery while ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Machine Operation & Setup**: Set up, calibrate, and operate flow wrap machinery efficiently to meet production plans.
- **Quality Control & Inspection**: Inspect finished products (weight, seal integrity, appearance) and verify print clarity/legibility on film.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**: Perform basic maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshoot jams to minimize downtime.
- **Production Monitoring & Recording**: Monitor performance for optimal speed, ensure proper product loading, and accurately record production data (batches, film print, operating times).
- **Workflow Coordination & Safety**: Coordinate with packing staff to keep pace with the machine, ensure smooth production flow, and maintain safety/cleaning standards.
- **Material Management**: Monitor and report stock levels of film and consumables to avoid interruptions

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous machine operating experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is usually required (1-3 years).
- Understanding of production machinery, and ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Ability to work with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00
- $70,000.00 per year
