Task & Responsibilities Prepare and cook a diverse range of seafood and other dishes, ensuring top-quality presentation and consistency. Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to delight our guests. Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards, maintaining compliance with all regulations. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service during busy periods. Manage inventory and stock control, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team. Collaborate with management to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Qualification & Experience Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or an equivalent qualification). At least 1 year of experience as a Chef in a high-paced restaurant or seafood- focused kitchen. Strong knowledge of Australian cuisine with a focus on fresh, seasonal seafood. Expertise in food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance at all times. Experience in kitchen management and team leadership is highly desirable. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality in every dish.
