**The Opportunity** We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop-Based Service Technician to join our Richlands branch. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a modern workshop environment, alongside a supportive and forward-thinking team.

**What You’ll Be Doing** **- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of John Deere Construction & Forestry and Vermeer equipment in a fully equipped workshop environment.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to manage workloads efficiently and meet service deadlines.
- Conduct inspections and prepare condition reports, recommending necessary parts and maintenance solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards. **- Uphold RDO’s skilled standards, contributing to a positive team culture and delivering excellent internal customer service.

**What We’re Looking For**

**- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting, Mobile Plant, or Diesel Mechanics.
- Previous workshop experience with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s licence (Medium Rigid or higher).
- Experience with Vermeer equipment is highly regarded.
- Additional qualifications such as Air-Conditioning, Auto Electrical, or High-Risk Work Licences (e.g., Forklift, EWP, Crane) are a bonus.
