Fitter Machinist (Richlands)

- BFP Richlands About the Opportunity Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Richlands. Your responsibilities:
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications
- Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components
- Cleaning and preparing components
- Assemble and testing of cylinders
- Attend and participate in toolbox talks
- Ensuring a protected and tidy workspace is maintained. About You To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Relevant Trade (essential) and welding qualifications (highly desirable)
- Experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders
- Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances
- Understanding of the re-manufacture process including machining and welding
- Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and work with others
- Experience with fault finding and diagnostics is advantageous. This position will attract an hourly wage of between $47.00 and $50.00 commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.
