Service Technician (Apprentice) (Richlands)

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Service Technician (Apprentice) to join our energetic John Deere and Vermeer business unit team in Richlands, QLD. Please note: Only applicants aged 18 or older and who have completed Year 12 are eligible for this apprenticeship position. This full‑time opportunity will allow you to complete a Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology. You will attend and participate in all Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements as outlined in accordance with your training agreement and participate in RDO and John Deere training sessions/days. You must maintain a Training Record Book and attend block release as determined. About the Role Working on world class John Deere and Vermeer equipment whilst being guided and instructed by qualified Trade personnel, you will learn:
- Diagnostics
- Repairs
- Maintenance
- Assembly
- Administration There is an opportunity to work on:

- A wide variety of equipment across the construction and environmental products Required Skills and Qualities You will bring the following skills and be able to meet the requirements of the role by:
- A current driver’s licence with your own reliable transport.
- A robust aptitude for hands‑on, mechanical tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability, self‑motivation, and a willingness to work.
- The ability to perform physical work in sometimes demanding conditions.
