Disability Support Worker (Mawson Lakes)

Disability Support Worker Location: Mawson Lakes Employment Type: Casual / Part time / Full-Time Available We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our disability support team in Mawson Lakes, SA. In this role, you will support participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and engage in their community while providing high-quality person-centred care. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting participants with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Supporting community access, social participation, and recreational activities
- Administering or prompting medication where required
- Providing emotional support and encouraging independence
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
- Following individual support plans and promoting participant choice and dignity
- Supporting participants with behavioural or complex care needs when required About You
- Caring, patient, and respectful attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
- Previous disability support experience preferred but not essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle preferred
