- Lead the development of procurement strategies and agreements for the bill of materials, which includes an extensive volume of COTS and MOTS Hardware and Software;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage global agreements and supplier relationships
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure software licence agreements and the ongoing management of them is in accordance with program requirements
- Develop procurement, supply chain and transportation strategies to achieve cost, schedule, quality, product security objectives, whilst mitigating supply chain risks
- Ensure integration with engineering and production across the design to production lifecycle;
- Collaborate with engineering on Bill of Material (BOM) release timing and design maturity to enable effective procurement;
- Develop supply plans, which illuminate the timing of purchase orders considering lead times, supply disruption risks and production plans.
- Lead key supplier relationship management and collaboration
- Oversee all purchasing and expediting activities and report on material availability status
- Partner with production and integration teams to manage impacts of material delays and replan activities
- Act as Control Account Manager (CAM) for materials, managing cost and schedule performance against baseline
- Ensure effective receipt, inspection, and resolution of non-conforming materials About you: You are a commercially and operationally strong supply chain leader who can operate across strategy and execution in a complex program environment.
You will bring:
- Significant multi domain experience across supply planning, procurement, and materials management
- Demonstrate strategic procurement experience
- Strong understanding of design and development programs and production lifecycle management
- Confidence working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and program teams
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, dashboard tools and data-driven decision making
- Exposure to cost and schedule control (CAM or similar) highly regarded Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
