Algorithm Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Software Tester to join our growing ICT team in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for software quality assurance, automation testing, system validation, defect analysis, and supporting enterprise application delivery across multiple platforms and environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing
- Create automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related testing frameworks
- Identify, document, track, and manage software defects and system issues
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and project teams to analyse software requirements and testing outcomes
- Conduct root cause analysis and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare technical documentation, testing reports, and quality assurance records
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and software delivery cycles
- Support CI/CD testing and deployment validation processes
- Ensure applications meet business, functional, and performance requirements Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience as a Software Tester, Automation Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, API testing tools, and performance testing tools
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Employment Conditions:
- Full-time permanent position
- Minimum 38 hours per week
