About the Opportunity
Our services are uniquely shaped for each of our customers based on who they are, what their goals are, what they need to achieve them and when they need that support. Given this, we need support workers who equally enjoy the flexibility in the services they will conduct.
We are seeking experienced support workers to assist our customers with the following services:
PEG feeding
Complex bowel care
Catheter care
Personal care
Social and community access
About the Role
Monday weekly: 8:00pm-9:00pm.
Wednesday weekly: 10:00am-4:00pm.
Thursday weekly: 8:00pm-9:00pm.
Friday weekly: 10:00am-4:00pm.
Saturday week 1: 8:30am-11:30am.
Sunday week 1: 8:30am-11:30am.
Skills & experience
Current South Australian Working with Children Check (Working)
Current NDIS Workers Screening Check (Working)
Certificate III in Individual Support (desirable) or equivalent experience
Current First Aid certificate (completed in the last 3 years)
Current CPR certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
Current Manual Handling certificate (completed in the last 2 years)
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
NDIS Workers Orientation Module
NDIS Supporting Secure Meals Training Module
NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
Experience working with non-verbal customers (desirable)
Experience and or training in the following supports (desirable)
PEG feeding
Complex bowel care
Catheter care
Evidence of the rights to work within Australia, by supplying one or more of the following:
VEVO or evidence of Visa
Passport
Citizenship or Birth Certificate
100 points of ID
