The Opportunity We’re looking for someone hands-on, mechanically savvy, and self-motivated to join our team as a Stump Grinding Operator. You don’t need previous stump grinding experience – we’ll provide full training. What matters most is your ability to:
- Work confidently with machinery and tools.
- Solve problems and take initiative when working independently.
- Be safety-conscious and reliable.
- Trusted to provide a professional and efficient service without onsite supervision. What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating specialised stump grinding machinery.
- Working on job sites across Adelaide and surrounding areas.
- Representing Austral Tree Services with professionalism and care.
- Working around underground services.
- Organised, careful and methodical to complete daily work.
- Complying with all company processes, SOPS and safety standards.
- Respecting, maintaining and caring for you company fleet and equipment.
- Demonstrating a keen ability to learn and apply new skills to your job. What We’re Looking For
- A mechanical mindset – maybe you’ve worked with engines, tools, farm machinery, or construction gear.
- The ability to work unsupervised and get the job done.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Hold a valid Driver’s licence and MR Licence (essential) Why Join Us?
