Disability Support Worker Casual Mawson Lakes

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Responsibilities:

Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Assisting individuals with disabilities in accessing community resources and participating in recreational activities.

Monitoring and documenting individual progress and any changes in behavior or health status.

Implementing individualized care plans and providing support in accordance with client needs.

Collaborating with other members of the support team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required.

Compassion, patience, and empathy towards individuals with disabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working with children check

Cert 3 or cert 4 in disability or individual support.

Manual handling & cpr certification.

First aid certificat.

Medication certificate.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation preferred.
