Production Supervisor - Afternoon (Ingleburn)

**T**he Production Supervisor
- Afternoon Shift will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient manufacturing of products and maintaining best practices and quality control guidelines in line with business and customer expectations Co-ordinate production staff activities, responsible for leading and developing the production team through providing direction and ensuring that employees understand their roles and team performance objectives.

This role is based in Ingleburn.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- **Workplace Health & Safety** Instill a positive safety culture through committed and visible leadership, creating a workforce that engages with protected practices, safe systems,and safe behaviour. Take reasonable care for own health & safety as well as the health & safety of all stakeholders across the site. Promptly report any workplace hazards &/or incidents in line with company policy. Investigate any accident or incident that causes lost time or medical treatment to establish rthe oot cause and to identify corrective actions to implement.
- ** Talent Management & Leadership** Build a high performing team with a safety first, continuous improvement focus. Coach, mentor and develop talent by providing tools and techniques that improve their effectiveness and enhance team building.
- ** Production** Ensure all production requirements are met in full, on time, and within budget. Identify the causes of any variances and provide corrective actions to mitigate underperformance. Utilise team in the most efficient manner to meet production goals. Ensure quality standards are met utilising control systems. Ensure all equipment and machinery is operational and maintained in a good working order
- ** Continuous Improvement** Drive a continuous improvement culture within the team and take a lead role in implementing ITW tool box continuous improvement activities that address safety, quality, and efficiency.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Experience in a similar manufacturing environment with hands on experience at a shop floor level.
- Strong commitment to building Safety and high-performance culture
- Build & leverage influential relationships across functions/business to deliver results
- Effective communication & leadership skills with demonstrated experience in performance management.
