$ per hour Super Overtime All Allowances Government Role Glen Innes NSW Location Plant Operator (Grade 3) TfNSW Project Hours: 8.5 hours per day | 76 hours per fortnight Roster: 9-day fortnight Location: Glen Innes depot Travel: Frequent travel with camping required Allowances: Paid Living Away From Home (LAFH) allowances $ per hour super Immediate Start | 6 month assignment About the Role We are seeking an experienced Plant Operators to join a Transport for NSW sealing crew based out of Glen Innes. This is a hands‑on role working within a high‑performing team delivering road maintenance and highway sealing works across regional NSW. You will be required to operate plant equipment while also assisting with general labouring duties on site. This role involves travel and camping away, with Living Away from Home allowances provided. Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment, primarily multi‑tyre rollers
- Assist with sealing operations on highways and road networks
- Manual handling tasks including bending, lifting and repetitive work
- Set up and remove stop/slow (traffic control) equipment
- Work collaboratively within a crew in a physically demanding environment
- Maintain safe work practices in line with TfNSW requirements Requirements
- White Card
- Worker on Foot (WOF)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (minimum)
- Willingness to upgrade to MR/HR licence
- Traffic Control (TC) ticket
- Experience operating multi‑tyre rollers (highly desirable)
