Hotel Services - Cafe/Servery (Ipswich)

About the Role We’re looking for a permanent full-time Barista / Café Allrounder at our Ipswich care home. Be at the heart of our community, serving great coffee and snacks while creating a warm café space for residents, families and visitors. Typically, this involves:
- Delivering a friendly, professional café experience for residents and visitors.
- Prepare and serve hot & cold beverages and café snacks, barista skills and certification desirable.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming café environment.
- Following café procedures to ensure smooth, high-quality operations.
- Supporting stock management with the Chef Manager.
- Assisting with dining room service when needed. This is a physically active role requiring daily bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing. You must be able to perform these tasks safely to protect yourself, your team, and our residents. - what matters most is a passion for customer service and a positive attitude. Hospitality qualifications (Cert II or similar) are highly regarded but not essential. You will bring:
- Demonstrated barista experience and love for coffee.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
- Awareness of workplace safety and hazards.
- Confidence to work independently or with the hospitality team.
- Flexibility, reliability and good availability to cover shifts.
