Opportunity
KBR is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Project Controller to support the HALSPO Project Management Unit (PMU). In this role, you will provide project scheduling, cost control, reporting, and performance management support in alignment with CASG policies and the One Defence Capability Framework. Working within a agile Defence setting, you will contribute to the successful delivery of project outcomes through effective planning, coordination, reporting, and risk management activities.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and Open Plan Professional
Support the development and maintenance of integrated project plans and artefacts
Track and report on project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure
Monitor project performance against approved baselines and identify variances
Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
Maintain planning artefacts including schedules, requirement registers, and capability documentation
Support project governance activities in accordance with CASG policies and processes
Coordinate and maintain project risk registers and mitigation activities
Provide PMU coordination and administrative support
Prepare meeting minutes and maintain accurate project documentation
Ideal Candidate
Experience in project controls, scheduling, project coordination, or PMO support within Defence or government environments
Strong skills in MS Project and/or Open Plan Professional
Understanding of project reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within integrated teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working within CASG or Defence environments will be highly regarded
