Civil Construction Crew Required – Immediate Start (Concrete + Culverts) | QLD

CMTL Group is seeking experienced civil workers for an upcoming drainage project in regional Queensland, with initial works kicking off early May

We are looking to mobilise a crew to complete concrete structures (aprons, wingwalls, cutoff walls) followed by ongoing culvert installation works (RCP & RCBC) as additional work fronts open up.

This is a outstanding prospect for those looking to secure consistent short-term work with potential for ongoing scope.

Immediate Requirement (Early May): Concreters / Formworkers Steel Fixers Civil Labourers with concrete experience Supervisor / Leading Hand (drainage & structures)

Ongoing Works (May): Pipe Layers (RCP & RCBC experience essential) Excavator Operators (20T–30T) Roller / Skid Steer Operators Civil Labourers / Spotters

Scope of Works: Construction of aprons, wingwalls and cutoff walls Installation of reinforced concrete pipes and box culverts Excavation, bedding, installation and backfill Compaction and general civil works

What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in civil drainage and/or concrete structures Ability to work across staged works (concrete → drainage install) Solid safety focus and reliability on site Relevant tickets/licences (RII, VOCs, machinery tickets etc.) White Card (mandatory)

Project Details: Regional QLD location Initial mobilisation: early May (concrete works) Ongoing works expected Competitive hourly rates (based on role and experience) Travel/accommodation can be discussed

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week

Experience: Drainage : 4 years (Preferred) Pipe laying: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification: Concreting or Formwork Trade Certificate (Preferred) Excavator RII (Preferred) Roller RII (Preferred) Skid Steer RII (Preferred) Steel Fixing Certificate (Preferred)
