Logistics Coordinator Thornton

About the role:

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical part in coordinating transport, managing delivery schedules, and liaising with internal teams and external freight partners to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.

Key responsibilities: Book, coordinate, and manage all inbound and outbound freight movements Liaise and negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and freight forwarders to meet service, customer and cost requirements Coordinate import and export activities, including customs clearance and associated documentation Liaise with Sales and Operations teams to understand customer requirements and production demand Assist in warehousing activities when required

What you'll need: Experience with freight, transport, or logistics coordination Forklift (LF) license (desirable) Excellent organisational skills Competent in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) Experience with ERP systems
