- Completion of an approved Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (HLT37115) or higher/equivalent certificate relevant to hospital pharmacy including the ‘Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest Stock’ Module (HTLPA001).
- Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (SIR30116) or higher/equivalent certificate plus ‘Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest Stock’ Module (HTLPA001).
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine‑preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16. What We’re Looking For
- Ability to be an active member of a pharmacy team, working under the direction of a registered pharmacist and carrying out duties with initiative and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently with high‑level communication skills.
- Knowledge of the PBS, SAS, LAM, iPharmacy, and eLMs is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret prescriptions, understand relevant abbreviations, and be aware of current legislation to facilitate the dispensing process.
- Understanding of ward stock systems, stock control and expiry‑date monitoring in a hospital pharmacy department. Why Choose Us
