- Join the The Spice Hut Ripley team The Spice Hut Ripley Pty Ltd T/a The Spice Hut Ripley (located at Shop 019/ 7004 Barrams Rd, South Ripley QLD 4306) is currently seeking an experienced Curry Chef to join their team full time. Applicants must have a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or relevant qualification, and a minimum 1 year of experience. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook various type of Curries with authentic Indian taste.
- Prepare and cook food meeting dietary requirements where required.
- Plan menus and adjust existing dishes, including pricing, while keeping overhead costs minimal.
- Ensure proper seasoning, garnishing, and portion control for all dishes served.
- Apply correct freezing and preservation techniques to extend ingredient shelf life without compromising quality.
- Provide support and Training other kitchen staff.
- Address and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly.
- Manage stock, including ordering, rotation, and minimising waste.
- Uphold high standards in food preparation, presentation, and consistency at all times. A salary of $79,500
