Field Worker We are urgently seeking a Field Worker to join the Parks and Sports local government council crew based in Ipswich. Duties
- Mowing
- Brushcutting
- Blower operation
- Litter collection
- General labouring duties Requirements
- Previous experience with landscaping or parks and gardens work.
- An appropriate level of physical fitness for the work being performed.
- Current C class driver’s licence.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Robust reliability, work ethic and commitment to safety with proven ability to follow directions and work as part of a team (supported by references).
- Mandatory PPE requirements apply and you must be willing to be face‑fit tested for a P2 disposable respirator prior to starting. Additional qualifications (optional)
- Certificate in Horticulture
- Q Fever vaccination Pre‑employment checks Any offer of employment will be subject to a pre‑employment medical, which includes drug and alcohol screening, to ensure you are fit to safely perform the inherent requirements of the role, together with a criminal history check. What’s on offer
- $43.05 p/hour plus superannuation
- 9 Day working fortnight (6:15am to 3:15pm)
