Centre Cook – Springfield Parkway

As a Centre Cook you will play a key role in creating a nurturing, healthy workplace through food. Responsibilities include:

Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks.

Maintain a secure, clean, and well‑stocked kitchen.

Order supplies and manage inventory.

Communicate with educators to meet dietary needs.

Support the centre’s mealtime routines and assist where needed.

Be open to learning more about nutrition for different age groups, especially infants.

Hours: 6:15 am to 2:15 pm Monday to Friday (open to discuss alternative hours for the right candidate).

Centre Hours: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.

About You

You are passionate about creating food with purpose and care. You have:

A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management.

Cooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential).

A commitment to supporting children’s growth, development, and wellbeing through food.
