Position Overview

We’re looking for a Casual Cook to join our team at The Beach House Restaurant & Bar located on the One Mile Beach Holidays site, reporting to the Venue Manager in the NSW Mid North Coast region.

In this Role, You’ll

Oversee daily food preparation, cooking, presentation and overall kitchen quality.

Manage stock, ordering, daily prep and inspect all incoming produce.

Maintain strict food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards.

Minimise waste and ensure freshness through productive use of ingredients.

Support team and operational needs, stepping into additional duties when required.

Qualifications and Attributes

Put guests first, making decisions with their experience and safety front of mind.

Work efficiently, manage your time well and uphold high quality and food safety standards.

Collaborate positively with others, staying resilient and level‑headed under pressure.

Bring experience in a commercial kitchen, delivering food that delights guests and meets safety requirements.

Understand food safety, cost control and industry standards, and apply Ingenia policies and SOPs in daily work.
